The interesting stuff vs Rams in Week 11

  1. Greg Olsen in the booth. Honestly, he probably shouldn’t have been there. With the Vikings facing off against the Panthers in Week 14, it seems like this isn’t a good thing for FOX to ask of a player and organization. Plus it sets a bad precedent for future situations.
  2. Bad challenge. The Vikings challenged that Hekker stepped out of bounds before punting the ball away, but could have taken more opportunities to check out the play before throwing the flag to make sure it was the right call. Instead, Zimmer threw it right away.
  3. FOX telling a familiar story. So, Robert Woods is playing his pro football where he grew up and played his college football? That story sounds familiar. If only there were a Vikings wide receiver who wears yellow gloves with a similar story…
  4. Roughing the passer. Anthony Barr could have impressed Bill Goldberg or maybe Edge with that WWE style spear. It’s not going to impress refs though, and he’ll get a flag for that play every single time he lowers his helmet on a hit like that.
  5. Keesum? Kees? Keys? If you were drinking every time that an announcer said Case Keenum’s name wrong, you were likely stumbling around your house, bar, or stadium in a drunken stupor. It’s really not that hard, guys…
