The interesting things from Week 13 vs Falcons

  1. The hashes are too close together. The field had just been painted after being used for a college football game the day before. This will mess with the linemen on both teams and possibly the kickers as well and force them to adjust accordingly instead of knowing spots automatically.
  2. The apple pie dome. They say football is the new ‘America’s Pastime’ and nothing is more American than apple pie. We’ll keep things classy and say it looks like apple pie…and not what some others have been saying it resembles.
  3. Sound truck. When the volume levels of the announcers keep getting really low and then returns to normal, something needs to be done to stabilize it. And FOX was having problems with this all throughout the broadcast.
  4. That’s a close one. Kai Forbath has been under a bit of a microscope lately, and his extra point that bounced off the upright definitely has fans worried…but as long it goes in, this goes in the interesting stuff instead of the bad stuff!
  5. 10 wins! The Vikings now have won 10 games only 13 weeks into the season. They continue to put themselves in position to stay within striking distance of the Philadelphia Eagles for the top spot in the NFC.
