The Minnesota Vikings know who they will be facing during the 2018 NFL season, so let’s take a look at who their opponents will be on the schedule.
Happy New Year! It certainly was a happy New Year’s Eve for the savages up North. The regular season has passed, and for the second time in three years, the Minnesota Vikings wear the NFC North crown.
They finished 13-3 and were able to clinch the second seed as well as a first-round bye for the upcoming NFC playoffs. It’s been an electrifying season, filling each Vikings fans’ beer stein to the brim with surprise, excitement, and possibly the most terrifying feeling of all, hope.
The season has at least one more leg, two weeks from now in the NFC divisional playoffs. Even for a fanbase well-versed in heartache, there’s no reason to spend this moment feeling anything but optimism and enthusiasm. There’s absolutely no reason to live anywhere but “in the now.”
With that being said, I think it’s time to take at least an abbreviated look at the Vikings’ 2018 opponents.

The cycling NFL schedule brings opponents from the NFC West and AFC East to U.S. Bank Stadium next season, along with the usual divisional foes from around the NFC North. Vikings will also face-off against fellow NFC division champs New Orleans and Philadelphia.
While it’s far too early to place predictions on final standings, there’s plenty of intrigue within the Vikings’ 2018 slate.
