Diggs’ touchdown causes Zimmer to actually crack a smile

It does not happen very often, but once every leap year or full moon Minnesota head coach Mike Zimmer will actually smile. On Sunday, Stefon Diggs gave Zimmer many reasons to remind everyone that he is, indeed, capable of feeling joy.

Following the team’s win, the Vikings’ head coach let his players know how incredibly proud he was of their effort on Sunday.

Then Zimmer hit the podium to speak with the media and it turned into one of his most entertaining press conferences since joining the team in 2014. The head coach found it pretty hard to answer questions as fans continued to cheer from the outside.

Minnesota’s players were just as shocked as everyone else at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday. One second they’re preparing to talk about the end of their season and before they can even blink, Diggs is crossing the goal line and sending the team to the NFC Championship.
