Kevin Stefanski

Currently, Stefanski is the Vikings’ quarterbacks coach. In 2016, he was the team’s running backs coach and before that, he was in charge of Minnesota’s tight ends in both 2015 and 2014.

The former defensive back at the University of Pennsylvania has been working for the Vikings since 2006, when he was hired as the assistant to former Minnesota head coach Brad Childress. During his time with the Vikings, Stefanski has worked under a number of different offensive minds including Childress, Darrell Bevell, Bill Musgrave, Norv Turner, and Pat Shurmur.

Stefanski has definitely been an important part of the emergence of Case Keenum this season. Back in November, Keenum commented on how the coach helps him prepare for his opponents better than anyone he’s ever worked with in the past.

"“Kevin’s been great. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with him as the quarterbacks coach. Prepares us as thoroughly as I’ve ever been prepared, as far as seeing different looks and being prepared for all sorts of things.”"

Stefanski has never called plays for an offense in his coaching career but promoting him to be the offensive coordinator in 2018 could help in maintaining Keenum’s high level of play if the quarterback re-signs with Minnesota this offseason.
