The Viking Age’s writing staff look into their crystal ball to try and predict what will happen when the Minnesota Vikings take on the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship on Sunday.

Just 60 more minutes of football separate the Minnesota Vikings and an opportunity to play in the Super Bowl at their home stadium. In order for this to actually happen, the Vikings must first take care of business this weekend in the NFC Championship.

Minnesota will be heading out on the road this Sunday to take on the NFC’s top-seeded Philadelphia Eagles. Whoever comes out of the matchup with a victory will represent the conference in Super Bowl LII at U.S. Bank Stadium on February 4th.

Will the Vikings pull out a win on Sunday and become the first team in NFL history to ever play in a Super Bowl on their home field? Or will Minnesota’s first NFC Championship game since 2009 result in yet another disappointing playoff experience for the purple and gold?

Our writing staff here at The Viking Age may not have the ability to see into the future like Mike Zimmer, but we still like to pretend.
