Multiple reports have the Minnesota Vikings as a top candidate to land the high-priced free-agent quarterback this offseason.
For the 2018 season, the Minnesota Vikings need a starting quarterback. How much money they would like to spend to find their starter is something that remains to be seen.
There is a certain quarterback available in free agency this year by the name of Kirk Cousins who is expected to command a big-time contract from any team that attempts to sign him. Cousins and his agent could very well be on a mission to find a deal that pays the quarterback at least $30 million per year and nothing less.
Even with how much he would cost, is Cousins someone Minnesota would actually be interested in? Well, according to multiple reports on Monday, the free-agent quarterback is indeed on the Vikings’ radar.

Minnesota Vikings
Earlier in the day, NFL Media’s Gil Brandt stated that there is mutual interest between Minnesota and Cousins. Brandt also said he believes the Vikings are the team where Cousins will land.
A few hours later on Monday, NFL Media’s Mike Garafolo reported that Minnesota is going to, “make a strong push,” to sign the quarterback this offseason.
For those who had any doubt about the Vikings having any interest in Cousins, these reports should clear things up a bit.
The quarterback may be able to get more money from other teams like the New York Jets or Cleveland Browns. But Minnesota can not only provide Cousins with a satisfying amount of cash, they can also offer him a spot on a team that just made it all the way to the NFC Championship.
