The Viking Age’s Adam Patrick and Sporting Sota’s Tyler Haag go over the latest and greatest having to do with the Minnesota Vikings.

It was a busy week for the Minnesota Vikings after the 2018 NFL free agency period kicked off last Monday.

The Vikings ended up landing arguably the most sought after free-agent on the market in quarterback Kirk Cousins. Minnesota had to give Cousins a bunch of money in order to sign him (at least $84 million fully guaranteed), but the move could ultimately result in the franchise capturing its first ever Super Bowl win within the next few years.

On this week’s episode of the Bleeding Purple Podcast, Tyler and I discussed a number of free agency and Vikings-related topics including…

  • Reaction to Kirk Cousins finally signing with the Vikings
  • Teddy Bridgewater heading to the Big Apple
  • Sam Bradford continues to steal money from NFL teams
  • Adrian Peterson should become a short-yardage specialist
  • Case Keenum to the Broncos
  • Louis Riddick is a joke
  • Jerick McKinnon got paid
  • Debunking the Kirk Cousins is a vegetarian rumor
  • Tyler still wants the Vikings to sign Sebastian Janikowski
  • Kai Forbath would fit in really well at Coachella
  • Who will succeed the most in 2018 out of Bradford, Keenum, or Teddy?
  • Favorite Vikings memories from Bradford and Teddy
