The Viking Age’s Adam Patrick and Sporting Sota’s Tyler Haag discuss the latest Minnesota Vikings news and offseason updates on this week’s show.
Another week of the NFL offseason has gone by and more members of the Minnesota Vikings’ 2017 roster have decided to sign with new teams. This week it was Tom Johnson, Shamar Stephen, and Jeremiah Sirles.
None of the Vikings’ departures this offseason should have a tremendous impact on their play in 2018 considering the majority of those who left were reserves. But improving their depth will certainly be something for Minnesota to address in the upcoming NFL Draft.
On this week’s episode of the Bleeding Purple Podcast, Tyler and I discussed these recent transactions and a number of other Vikings-related topics including…
- Vikings most recent free agency departures
- Joe Berger calls it a career
- Biggest needs for Minnesota heading into the draft
- Mackensie Alexander to keep progressing?
- Sharrif Floyd’s Instagram rant
- Zimmer’s improvement in speaking to the media
- Ben McAdoo looks like he dressed up as a mob boss for Halloween
- Jeff Fisher ignores an apology from Vince Young
- NFL investigating fan behavior at the NFC Championship
- NFL games are not a friendly environment for kids
- Eagles fans are bullies
- Figuring out where Kirk Cousins ranks among the NFL’s QBs
- The top of the 2012 draft is a disaster
- Philip Rivers loves to talk trash, but doesn’t curse
- Kirk Cousins is the 11-best QB heading into 2018
