The Viking Age’s Adam Patrick and Sporting Sota’s Tyler Haag go over the latest Minnesota Vikings signings and happenings on this week’s episode of the show.

Just when it seems like the Minnesota Vikings are done adding new players to their 2018 roster, they go out and sign a talented free-agent wide receiver in Kendall Wright. A first-round pick in the 2012 draft, Wright will only cost the Vikings $1 million in 2018 and he could end being a huge bargain by the end of next season if everything works out.

The receiver is just the latest free-agent to join Minnesota this offseason. A group that now includes Wright, offensive lineman Tom Compton, quarterback Kirk Cousins, and defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson.

On this week’s episode of the Bleeding Purple Podcast, myself and Tyler Haag went over the addition of Wright and a number of other Vikings-related topics including…

  • What does the Wright signing mean for Treadwell?
  • Marcus Sherels is back again
  • Terence Newman is still talking with the Vikings
  • Tyler pounds the table for Ryan Quigley
  • Vikings may never draft a punter or a kicker ever again
  • What in the world is Jon Gruden doing?
  • The Redskins continue their Kirk Cousins smear campaign
  • The new helmet-hit rule is gong to be a mess in 2018
  • Mike Zimmer doesn’t want video on the sidelines
  • What limb would you give up for a Vikings Super Bowl win?
  • Adam has never watched “The Big Lebowski”
  • How is the Rams’ locker room not going to explode in 2018?
  • The Giants would be stupid to trade Odell Beckham
  • Weekly Josh Allen isn’t good segment
