Dallas Goedert, South Dakota State

Measurements:

  • 6-foot-5
  • 255 pounds

2017 Stats:

  • 72 catches
  • 1,111 yards, 7 touchdowns

Draft Projection: Rounds 1-2

A small-school superstar, Goedert has the potential to be a very good player in the NFL.

He can line up in a three-point stance on the line of scrimmage or he can line up on the outside as a receiver. Goedert’s combination of size and speed make him a potential matchup nightmare for opposing defenses.

He showcased his abilities on a variety of routes during college. Whether it was a deep ball (10 catches of at least 20 yards in 2017) or a short pass (8.2 yards after the catch last season), Goedert usually found a way to come up with a big-time play.

His blocking is one area that could use some improving. But that is something that can definitely be fixed by NFL coaches.

Goedert would be a great weapon for the Vikings to add to their offense and one that would also make it even easier for their other play-makers to get open.
