By Adam Carlson
Fans of the Minnesota Vikings can now make plans to get a look at Kirk Cousins, Sheldon Richardson and others before the 2018 NFL regular season starts.
While it is true that the preseason records don’t mean much for NFL teams like the Minnesota Vikings, there are still plenty of reasons to get excited about the four exhibition games each team plays.
This year, the preseason will give fans a first look at some new faces to the franchise, including quarterback Kirk Cousins, defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson, wide receiver Kendall Wright and several others.
Plus, the preseason helps to signal the eventual start of the regular season. The taste of action is enough to get fans riled up for when Week 1 of the regular season starts.
Fans shouldn’t skip watching preseason games. This is when the underdog players on the roster get a chance to shine and prove their worth. Guys like Adam Thielen, Marcus Sherels, Andrew Sendejo, and C.J. Ham were all undrafted free agents who worked their way up to Minnesota’s 53 man roster in the past.
