NFL.com analyst Reggie Wayne played a game of Over/Under with Mike Wobschall to predict how the Minnesota Vikings will perform during the 2018 NFL season.

Trying to figure out how a team will perform during the upcoming season can be a real challenge. While they can check out the current roster and project how things might work out, determining how the Minnesota Vikings will fare in 2018 can be a real challenge.

Recently, Mike Wobschall caught up with former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver and current NFL Network analyst Reggie Wayne to play a fun game of Over/Under with the topic being the 2018 Minnesota Vikings.

Here are the opinions that the 14 year veteran of the NFL had about how the Vikings will do by answering Over or Under based on statements in the video shared on the team’s official website:

OVER

  • Dalvin Cook will rush for 1199 yards
  • Stacy Coley will catch 9.5 passes
  • Stefon Diggs will have 999 receiving yards
  • Kirk Cousins

    will throw 29.5 touchdown passes

    UNDER

As you can see, Reggie Wayne has high expectations for Minnesota offense. In particular, his expectation for Kirk Cousins to have a career-high in touchdown passes during his first year with the Vikings.

Not only is Wayne predicting a career-high for Cousins, but he also believes that Diggs will put together the highest-yardage performance of his NFL tenure by joining the 1,000 yard club in 2018.

It will be a challenge for Coley to catch 10 passes this season unless something unexpected happens. With Thielen, Diggs, Wright, Rudolph, Cook, and other targets all getting looks from Cousins, it might be tough for Coley to even be active on game day if he makes the 53 man roster.

Choosing ‘Under’ on Thielen’s catch total is probably the safer bet. With the ball being spread out, it could be a challenge for him to meet the amazing season he had during the 2017 campaign.
