Win total odds for the 2018 NFL season have been revealed and the Minnesota Vikings are currently tied for the most projected victories.

Given that they finished one game short of the Super Bowl last year, most assume that the Minnesota Vikings will be able to achieve a similar amount of success again in 2018.

Add in the fact that they upgraded at quarterback with Kirk Cousins and on the interior defensive line with Sheldon Richardson this year, more and more people are starting to believe that Minnesota could contend for a championship next season.

Including those who make money off of others placing NFL-related wagers.

As of Monday morning, BetOnline.ag has the Vikings’ over/under win total for 2018 at 10.5. An amount that is currently tied for the highest in the NFL for next season with the Green Bay Packers, New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles, and Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Atlanta Falcons, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Chargers, and Los Angeles Rams are all tied for the second-highest over/under win total with 9.5.

These projected win totals should make it pretty clear that oddsmakers believe in Minnesota for 2018. But why shouldn’t they?

Not only did the Vikings add a pair of talented free-agents this offseason, but 19 of their 22 starters from a year ago are expected back for the 2018 season. The majority of their roster came so close to the ultimate goal last year and should be even hungrier to get another shot at glory in 2018.

Of course, with injuries and the unpredictability of each NFL season, there’s also chance that Minnesota could end up falling short of the playoffs in 2018. But for now, oddsmakers don’t believe that will be the case for the Vikings next season.
