Minnesota Vikings bring home Webby Award for Minneapolis Miracle

The Minneapolis Miracle is an amazing play which fans of the Minnesota Vikings may never forget and now has won a People’s Voice award at the Webbys!

Not much time has passed since the Minnesota Vikings completed an improbable come-from-behind victory against the New Orleans Saints in the Divisional Round of the 2018 NFL Playoffs, yet it feels like forever.

Most fans can picture the play in their heads without any help at all. Seeing Case Keenum unload a pass to Stefon Diggs and for him to run the reception into the end zone for a walk-off touchdown still can cause goosebumps.

Now, the Vikings can add the phrase ‘award-winning’ to the Minneapolis Miracle since it was recently revealed the unforgettable play has won the People’s Voice Webby Award! Check out the post from the team’s official Facebook page:

The “Minneapolis Miracle Sideline Cam” beat out several other wonderful social media channels and moments, including Bleacher Report, the Philadelphia Eagles, the World Surf League, and others.

A ceremony where the Vikings will accept a trophy for their win will take place on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 9 a.m. from Cipriani Wall Street event center in New York City. However, Fans wanting to check out the presentation can follow along LIVE online on WebbyAwards.com.
