Kirk Cousins – QB

Despite not even playing in a regular season game for the Vikings yet, Cousins already has something to prove in 2018.

The quarterback was given a massive contract by Minnesota in March, complete with $84 million fully guaranteed. While the value of the deal is close to what many had predicted, some still feel Cousins is not worth the Vikings emptying their bank account for.

Just like every other player in the NFL, Minnesota’s quarterback does have some flaws in his game. But in the past few seasons, Cousins has revealed his potential to be one of the league’s absolute best passers in 2018.

Since becoming a full-time starter in 2015, the Vikings’ new quarterback has finished each season having thrown for at least 4,000 yards and 25 touchdowns. If Cousins can continue this trend and also lead Minnesota to a Super Bowl appearance in 2018, it will be hard to argue against him being the team’s best offensive player next season.
