Which member of the very talented Minnesota Vikings defense will emerge as the unit’s top player when the 2018 season comes to an end?

It was not very long ago that defense of the Minnesota Vikings was the laughingstock of the NFL. Heading into 2018, the Vikings’ defense is now regarded as one of the league’s absolute best.

Minnesota’s current defensive success is a combination of both the talent on the team’s roster and the guidance from head coach Mike Zimmer.

Before Zimmer was even hired by the Vikings, he was regarded by many around the NFL as a defensive genius. Since he arrived in Minnesota in 2014, all he has really done is further cement his legacy in the league as a defensive mastermind.

Of course, Zimmer has also had the luxury of having some very talented players on defense during his time with the Vikings. These guys have certainly made his job much easier.
