Harrison Smith – S

Prior to Mike Zimmer becoming the Vikings’ head coach in 2014, Smith was already regarded as one of the team’s top defensive players. Since Zimmer took over, the safety is now thought of as one the top defenders in the entire NFL.

Smith sets the tone for Minnesota’s defense as he is capable of doing just about anything his coaches ask of him. Whether it is shutting down an opposing team’s top receiver or coming up with a big-time sack, the Vikings safety always seems to come up with plays when his team needs them the most.

Like Rhodes, Smith is coming off a season that resulted his first ever First-Team All-Pro selection. With Zimmer still in control of Minnesota’s defense, there is really no reason to not believe the safety is in for another impressive year in 2018.
