Danielle Hunter – DE
In his first season as a full-time starter for the Vikings last year, Hunter’s statistical production did not turn out how some had envisioned. However, the 23-year-old defensive end was still able to make a difference for Minnesota’s defense in 2017 despite it not showing up on the stat sheet.
While his final sack total (seven) might have been underwhelming for some, Hunter still finished second on the Vikings’ defense with 59 pressures.
He recently attributed some of his struggles to his body still adjusting to some added muscle last year. But now Hunter says he is, “stronger,” and, “much more quicker” as he prepares for the upcoming season.
Will 2018 be the year Hunter emerges as one of the best defensive ends in the league?
