Sheldon Richardson – DT

Signed to a one-year deal this offseason, Richardson comes into Minnesota with a ton of potential. Adding him to a defensive line that was already one of the NFL’s best is going to make for some long days for the Vikings’ opponents in 2018.

But which Sheldon Richardson will Minnesota be getting this season? Will they be getting the player who accumulated 16.5 sacks during his first three years in the league or will Richardson in 2018 resemble the player he was in his last two seasons where he only managed a total of 2.5 sacks in 30 games?

With his Vikings teammates along the defensive line likely to command a lot of attention, this may be the year where Richardson once again resembles the guy who was named the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year back in 2013.
