There are many reasons to believe that the Minnesota Vikings can end the upcoming NFL season with the franchise’s first ever Super Bowl win.

After Stefon Diggs walked into the end zone to give the Minnesota Vikings a miraculous playoff win over the New Orleans Saints, a purple and gold Super Bowl parade seemed destined to happen in the Twin Cities last season.

Not only were the Vikings even closer to a championship following their win over the Saints, but they had the chance to become the first NFL team to ever play in a Super Bowl at their home stadium. A matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles is all that separated Minnesota and this amazing feat from being accomplished.

Unfortunately, the Vikings’ Super Bowl destiny was cut short as they were unable to come out with a win over the Eagles in the NFC Championship.

But thanks to the incredible work by Minnesota general manager and the rest of the team’s front office, the Vikings are set up to chase after a Vince Lombardi trophy once again in 2018. Looking at the caliber of players the team added to their roster this year, Minnesota may be even better next season than they were in 2017.

There’s no question the Vikings have the capabilities to be the next NFL team to win a Super Bowl. But what are some of the main reasons why Minnesota should be one of the favorites to end next season on top of the league?
