Jeff Badet – WR

Despite going undrafted this year, Badet is a player to watch during the Vikings’ training camp this summer.

He is a little short (5-foot-11) and unpolished to be an effective NFL receiver at this point, so Badet’s best chance to make Minnesota’s 2018 roster will likely be as a returner.

At Oklahoma in 2017, the Vikings’ rookie receiver averaged 20.9 yards on 15 kick returns. Badet did not run any kicks back for touchdowns last season, but his longest return last year did go for a cool 70 yards.

He was not a very elusive return-man in college, as he relied more on his blazing speed (4.27 40-time at his Pro Day this year). However, with a little direction from an experienced coach like Mike Priefer this summer, Badet could quickly emerge as Minnesota’s top choice to be their kick returner in 2018.
