The 30 greatest Minnesota Vikings players of all-time

All-time Greatest Minnesota Vikings: No. 11 – Mick Tinglehoff
From the moment he joined the Vikings organization as a rookie in 1962 to his final season in Minnesota in 1978, Mick Tingelhoff was the team’s starting center in every single game. The offensive lineman is one of the few players to play in each of the Vikings’ four Super Bowl appearances (1969, 1973, 1974, 1976).
From 1964 to 1969, Tingelhoff was voted to six straight Pro Bowls, and he also earned five First-Team All-Pro selections. He is one of three former Minnesota offensive lineman to be selected as a First-Team All-Pro in at least five seasons.
Tingelhoff started 240 games in his career with the Vikings and only Jim Marshall has more career starts (270) in team history.
In 2001, Tingelhoff was inducted into Minnesota’s Ring of Honor, and he is one of four former Vikings offensive lineman to be given the honor by the team. After years of waiting, Tingelhoff was also finally enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2015.
