Odds are that several Minnesota Vikings players will be selected during your fantasy football draft this year and Michael Fabiano has two he really likes!

Many fans of the Minnesota Vikings and football in general typically gather before the start of the regular season to draft their own fantasy football teams to show off their knowledge of the sport and its players.

However, those team managers will need to do their research if they want to leave their draft with some of the best players possible. There are tons of great sources for information, but Michael Fabiano on NFL.com is one of the best.

Recently, Fabiano released a list of his 2018 fantasy football summer crushes and included a pair of Minnesota Vikings players who should be considered with high draft picks when you assemble your team.

The first player on the list is Dalvin Cook, who was showing a lot of potential last season prior to his devastating ACL injury in Week 4.

"“The talented runner was on pace for over 260 PPR points before the ailment. I think that total is well within reach for Cook in an offense that should be dynamite with Kirk Cousins under center. As we get deep into the summer months, Cook could be locked into a first-round spot.”"

Honestly, my advice is that Cook should be an early second-round selection in drafts. Sometimes it’s hard to know how a player comes back from big injuries like ACL ailments, and choosing a top running back or receiver may be a wiser choice. However, if you truly believe Cook is going to be a stud this year, by all means, use that first round pick!

The second player on his list is one who Fabiano included on his list of fantasy football crushes last year. Stefon Diggs had a great season where he had 849 yards and 8 touchdowns and could improve on that with a new offensive coordinator and quarterback.

"“Just 24 years old, Diggs already has three years of NFL experience under his belt and could push past the 198.2 PPR points he scored in 2017. He’s also entering a contract year, so Diggs will have more motivation than ever to produce.”"

Unlike Cook, Fabiano did not include a suggested round where you should be targeting Diggs. However, on his Top 200 list, he has the wide receiver ranked 36th, meaning that he could go as early as the third round in 12 man leagues or even sooner for those who like drafting Minnesota players.
