Kyle Rudolph has some help as David Morgan, Tyler Conklin and others look to make their impact for the Minnesota Vikings in 2018.

As you may be well aware, the tight end position is changing in football. With a lot of colleges looking for speed and big plays, the days of the extra blocker at the end of the offensive line that could occasionally catch passes has come and gone.

In its place, teams are beginning to use more athletic tight ends that can not only clear a path for the running game, but make defenses sweat over another offensive weapon on the field. Players like Rob Gronkowski, Travis Kelce and Zach Ertz are just some of those who are making sure defensive coordinators can’t sleep at night.

While the Minnesota Vikings may not have an elite option at tight end, they have some pretty good ones. With with Kirk Cousins coming over from having a solid option in Jordan Reed with the Washington Redskins, this Vikings group will have a good chance to make him feel like home in 2018.
