Linebackers (6)

The starting three return from last year. There is no reason to think that things will change from the unit of Barr, Kendricks, and Gedeon heading into the 2018 NFL season considering they more than held their own.

However, the depth behind those three is highly questionable. There is not a lot of experience on the roster, especially until Kentrell Brothers returns from his suspension. Yet that doesn’t mean there aren’t some players with potential.

Devante Downs and Reshard Cliett will both need to prove themselves during training camp and the preseason to beat out the competition, but the future is wide open for many of these young players hoping to find a spot on the main roster or the practice squad.

That means players such as Mike Needham, Garret Dooley, Brett Taylor, and Antwione Williams could all have a shot at making an impact during training camp or free agency, making this the hardest unit on the team to predict.
