Safeties (4)
This is perhaps the easiest of all the positions to predict. The official Minnesota Vikings website has four safeties listed and each of them has some experience on defense or special teams to make them a valuable asset.
Harrison Smith is arguably the best safety in the league. His counterpart in the secondary, Andrew Sendejo, is criminally underrated and is one of the more fearless defenders in the league when it comes to putting big hits on the offense.
When Sendejo or Smith left the game last year, Anthony Harris did an admirable job of filling in. Plus, Jayron Kearse has proven to be solid when called upon and is also a huge asset on special teams.
The biggest question mark is whether or not the Vikings roll with five safeties and Tray Matthews can make enough of an impression to get the nod for a roster spot or even a practice squad position.
