Strong Safeties:

Andrew Sendejo and Anthony Harris

Sendejo remains one of the most maligned Vikings on the team despite turning in a career-best season last year. To put it mildly, he basically does what the coaches ask him to do and even makes a big play every once in a while to solidify his spot on the defense.

While he isn’t in the elite tier like Smith, Sendejo gets the job done. That’s why Minnesota hasn’t brought in any real major competition for the Rice product over the past several years and his role currently remains secure.

Harris is a nice depth piece. But like the rest of the group, he can make an impact play when needed. Unless someone really steps up in training camp this year, his role in Minnesota is also secure.
