In their fifth training camp session of 2018 things got a little more physical as the Minnesota Vikings put on the pads for the first time on Monday.
Since Mike Zimmer was hired as the team’s head coach four years ago, the Minnesota Vikings have developed into a team centered around having one of the NFL’s most physical defenses.
Up until Monday, the Vikings had been practicing all season with very little padding. But as Minnesota took the field at the TCO Performance Center on Monday for their fifth practice of this year’s training camp, the pads were on and the players were ready to hand out some hits.
The Vikings escaped Monday’s camp session without any major injuries. There was some more vomiting, but there were also more exciting (and less nauseating) moments that occurred during Minnesota’s fifth training camp practice of 2018.
