After enjoying an afternoon off, the Minnesota Vikings returned to the practice field on Thursday for their seventh training camp session of 2018.

Following six days of practice at the TCO Performance Center, the Minnesota Vikings had their first day off from training camp on Wednesday. It was a long time coming for some of the Vikings players that needed the time off to recover and heal from injuries.

Minnesota got back to work on Thursday and the team has seven more training camp sessions before they head to Denver for their first preseason matchup against the Broncos on August 11. One week from this Saturday, the Vikings will be back on the field for their first game since their disappointing loss in the 2017 NFC Championship.

Before Minnesota’s players get another day off from camp on Sunday, the team will continue to work on some of the progress they have already made this year. The new offense seems to be coming together and the Vikings’ impressive defense from last season looks ready to wreak havoc again in 2018.

As for Thursday, there were a few important takeaways from both sides of the ball.
