Offense on Day 10:

Offensive line falling apart

Minnesota has not even played their first preseason game of 2018 yet and their starting offensive line is already dealing with a bunch of injuries.

In addition to Pat Elflein still being on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list and Mike Remmers missing time with an ankle injury, Nick Easton is now reportedly dealing with multiple injuries.

The severity of Easton’s injuries is unknown at this point, but it was also reported that he is seeking a second opinion for his ailments (wonderful…).

Cousins will get some action on Saturday

Some might have believed that since the Vikings gave Kirk Cousins a truck-load of cash this year that the quarterback would not be appearing in the preseason. However, that does not appear to be the case for Minnesota’s exhibition matchup against the Denver Broncos on Saturday.

According to Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer on Monday, Cousins will be playing under center for as long the first-team offensive line is out on the field. But still don’t expect Minnesota’s starting quarterback to be on the field for more than one quarter.

Thielen showing no signs of decline

A year after being named a Second-Team All-Pro, Vikings receiver Adam Thielen looks to be on his way to another impressive season in 2018.

Thielen has been dazzling fans all training camp long with spectacular catches and he added to his highlight reel during Monday’s practice with a beautiful diving reception.
