The Minnesota Vikings took on the Denver Broncos during their first game of the 2018 preseason. Here are the good and bad things from the August 11th game.

Fans of the Minnesota Vikings have been patiently waiting for the return of football and it finally arrived. Although it is only the preseason, this was the first taste of competition on a nationally televised platform to watch some of the new faces play.

Seeing new faces like Kirk Cousins, Sheldon Richardson, Tom Compton, and others suiting up for action for the first time was fun, but so is seeing the NFL’s returning top-ranked defense and many offensive stars.

Meanwhile, the Broncos were looking to make a name for themselves as well, especially after acquiring the Vikings former quarterback, Case Keenum, in free agency to help get the team over the hump.

With so many great storylines going on and the first real taste of Minnesota Vikings football in the books, let’s take a look at the good, bad, and interesting things that happened during Week 1 of the preseason on Saturday, August 11, 2018 when the Vikings defeated the Broncos 42-28.
