How did some of the former Minnesota Vikings players from around the league perform during the NFL’s first week of the preseason this year?

Part of the success the Minnesota Vikings have experienced under head coach Mike Zimmer has been due to the team building its roster around a core group of players. Guys like Harrison Smith, Everson Griffen, Xavier Rhodes, Marcus Sherels, Adam Thielen, and Kyle Rudolph have all been with the Vikings for their entire NFL careers.

At the same time, Minnesota has had to make some difficult decisions in the recent past to part ways with a few players that their fans wished they could have found a way to keep on the roster. Some former Vikings players have gone on to find success elsewhere in the NFL, while others have not.

This past week, there were a bunch of Minnesota’s former players participating in preseason matchups around the league. There was even one (Case Keenum) who faced off against the Vikings.

Those who watched Minnesota’s preseason matchup against the Denver Broncos know how Keenum performed. But how did some of the other former Vikings players play during their time on the field this past week in a uniform that was not purple and gold?
