Sam Bradford – QB (Arizona Cardinals)
One series, that’s all the time Bradford got on the field during the Cardinals’ preseason game against the Los Angeles Chargers last Saturday.
He didn’t do a lot of throwing either. Of the 10 plays Bradford was on the field for, he only passed on two of them. The former Vikings quarterback finished Saturday’s game with just six yards passing.
Despite Bradford being expected to open the regular season as Arizona’s starting signal caller, the team is going to give rookie Josh Rosen some reps with the first-team offense during their Week 2 preseason game against the New Orleans Saints on Friday.
If Rosen plays well versus the Saints and in the Cardinals’ other preseason matchups, what’s to stop Arizona from deciding they’re better off with the rookie as their starter this season instead of Bradford?
