The Minnesota Vikings played against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2 of the NFL preseason. Here are good, bad, and interesting things from the game.

Following an impressive first team showing by the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1 of the preseason, the team stayed home to host Blake Bortles and the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday, August 8, 2018.

The two teams also took part in joint practices before the game, meaning these to teams whose seasons ended in the Conference Championship round of the NFL playoffs last season got to go head-to-head to sharpen each other’s skills.

Jacksonville was victorious during the game despite some great efforts from many Vikings players. Minnesota was on the losing side of the scoreboard, losing to the Jaguars 10-14 in front of the U.S. Bank Stadium crowd.

Despite the loss, there was quite a bit to pick apart from this game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Jacksonville Jaguars, so let’s talk about the positive things from the hard-fought Week 1 preseason matchup!
