Kentrell Brothers – LB
Brothers’ shot at making the Vikings’ final 2018 roster has been in question ever since the linebacker was handed a four-game suspension by the NFL back in April.
With Minnesota since they drafted him in 2016, Brothers has not seen much time on the field other than snaps on special teams. Throw in the fact that he won’t be able to play in the first four games of the regular season and his value to the Vikings likely is not too high at this point time.
Given his suspension, Brothers really could not afford to miss much time this preseason. However, the linebacker has only appeared in one of Minnesota’s two exhibition games this year and he has missed a handful of practices as well.
Even when he has been on the field for the Vikings, Brothers has not really been anything to get excited about. It’s looking like the linebacker’s play over the next two weeks has to drastically improve in order for him to make Minnesota’s final regular season roster.
