What will happen on Friday when the Minnesota Vikings host the Seattle Seahawks for preseason matchup inside U.S. Bank Stadium?
After coming out firing on all cylinders in their Week 1 preseason win over the Denver Broncos, the Minnesota Vikings fell flat in their preseason loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars last week.
The Vikings’ first-team offense couldn’t get anything going and the first-team defense gave up a 70-yard touchdown drive to the Jaguars. Even though it was just a preseason game, Minnesota discovered they might have more work to do before the start of the regular season than they thought.
For their third preseason matchup of 2018, the Vikings are hosting the Seattle Seahawks inside U.S. Bank Stadium on Friday. This is the third-straight year the two teams have faced off in the preseason.
So far this preseason, Seattle has yet to win a game. The Seahawks will likely be looking to gain some sort of momentum on Friday as they head into the regular season.
But the Vikings will be hoping for a better performance this week too. A touchdown pass or two from quarterback Kirk Cousins on Friday should help ease any worries Minnesota fans have about their team this year.
Since it is the third game of the preseason, both teams’ starters will likely play the entire first half of the matchup. So with their top players expected to be on the field longer, what are some of the things that may happen for the Vikings on Friday when they take on Seattle?
