The interesting stuff vs Seattle
- Showing fans in the crowd. I know they’re talking about social media, but showing fans on their phones at the football games isn’t something that makes for great television. Let’s see some excited fans, not ones staring at screens. There’s plenty of time for smartphones (especially The Viking Age app) after the game.
- Does the Minnesota State Fair really need to advertise? With it being such a massive draw annually, everyone knows about the fair. Everyone by now should know about the wide variety of foods and entertainment available
- Vikings Rewards. I’m a big fan of rewards programs. Whether it’s for something like The Walking Dead or the Minnesota Vikings, earning cool merchandise or opportunities can be a lot of fun. This week, use the code “824THIELEN” to get 250 points toward your next redemption!
- Hope. It’s not very often that a third-string quarterback can bring the kind of hope that Kyle Sloter did. His ability to bring the team back by making some incredibly hard throws and making good decisions was impressive.
- So…where is the QB4? Not that I’m complaining after that exciting finish by Sloter and the Vikings, but where is Peter Pujals? And will he see any action at all during the preseason at all or is he exclusively just for training camp and practices? It’s easy to forget he’s even on the roster.
