Offensive linemen (9)

Released: Josh Andrews, Kareem Are, Cornelius Edison, Colby Gossett, Kaleb Johnson, Dieugot Joseph, Storm Norton, J.P. Quinn

The bad news is that Elflein is still not ready to return to action, even after being activated from the PUP list. The good news is that Jones is more than ready to fill that hole until the time is right for him to come back.

Remmers, Isadora, Hill, Reiff, and Collins make their return to the team from last year, and it’s possible that three of the other four starting spots on the offensive line will come from this grouping of players.

Rookie O’Neill is the wild card. The Minnesota Vikings likely want him to bulk up as an offensive tackle, but after an impressive preseason, it might be hard to leave him out of the starting lineup. Veteran Compton is another player who may earn one of the starting spots.

There isn’t a lot of star power on the offensive line, but there is a lot of depth and versatility. Hopefully, when it’s time for these players to step up, they can prove the Vikings right in their decision.
