Final 2018 Record: 13-3

Last year, the Vikings were one of the best teams in the NFL. During the most recent offseason, Minnesota went out and made major upgrades to a roster that was already very talented.

So why is everyone still trying to find an excuse that the Vikings won’t live up to expectations in 2018 when everything they have done up to this point would lead one to believe they are a championship contender this year?

Let’s not beat around any bushes, Minnesota is going to be great again in 2018. Not good, but great.

The Vikings will get off to a hot start and open the season by wining 10 of their first 11 games before stumbling in December and losing two straight matchups on the road against the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks.

Minnesota will get back on their feet after their back-to-back losses though and close out the year by getting victories in each of their final three games of 2018.

Unlike last season, however, the Vikings will capture home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs. Will it be enough to get Minnesota a spot in Super Bowl LIII?

That is just something everyone will have to wait and see.
