Dalvin Cook will rush for at least 100 yards

This weekend’s game might not be as important to anyone on the Vikings’ roster as it is to Cook. Coming off a torn ACL last season, the young running back will be looking to prove that he can still make a difference for Minnesota.

He should have a pretty good chance at making some plays on Sunday against a 49ers defense that wasn’t too great at stopping the run last season. Factor in that San Francisco will be without middle linebacker Reuben Foster this week due to a suspension and Cook should have a bunch of room on the field to rack up a good amount of yardage.

The Vikings probably won’t be giving their young running back 30 carries on Sunday or anything like that. But Cook should still be able to get a good amount of action and have plenty of opportunities to make some highlight-reel plays.

If an aging Adrian Peterson is able to gain 100 rushing yards against the 49ers, then there should be no reason why Cook cannot do the same this week if Minnesota decides to give him a normal amount of snaps.
