The Interesting Stuff vs Bills

  1. Honoring the former coach. The best thing about this game is the fact it hosted a ceremony putting Dennis Green in the Vikings Ring of Honor. His son sounded the Gjallarhorn before the game and Paul Allen was the MC for his ceremony. A nice touch to a horrible game.
  2. Stop taking the ball out! The possibility of breaking a return isn’t worth the gamble when you risking losing the ball on the 25-yard line or even a player injury. Just take the knee or let it bounce out and take the field position. When you’re can’t move the ball offensively take the yards you’re given!
  3. Romo in the announcing booth. After a couple of weeks of average to below average commentary, listening to the former Cowboys quarterback call the game was a refreshing change of pace. Even with a blowout, he kept giving great insight and even had a great joke about Ryan Fitzpatrick.
  4. A silent U.S. Bank Stadium. The game got out of hand early, and then fans started to sit on their hands. Fans got to see a great comeback attempt against the Packers last week, so it’s a little frustrating not to hear the crowd supporting the squad at the stadium when they need them.
  5. Win, Lose, or Draw. With this embarrassing loss to Buffalo, the Vikings move to 1-1-1 on the season, earning a win, a loss, and a draw. This is something Vicki Lawrence would find particularly interesting, but not where fans of Minnesota would hope the team would be.
