Who and what were to blame for the Minnesota Vikings in their first loss of the 2018 season against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday?

From the moment they stepped onto the field at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday, the Minnesota Vikings did not resemble the same team that their fans had seen during the first two weeks of the 2018 season.

The Vikings were heavily favored going into Sunday’s matchup with the winless Buffalo Bills. Instead of  going out and performing like everyone thought they would, Minnesota looked overmatched and unprepared against the Bills.

Buffalo stormed out to an early 17-0 lead in the first quarter on Sunday and never looked back. On offense, defense, and special teams, the Bills easily outperformed the Vikings this week in every aspect of the game of football.

So what went wrong for Minnesota on Sunday? Did they not even game plan for Buffalo? Were they caught looking ahead to their big Week 4 showdown against the Los Angeles Rams?

Whatever it was, the Vikings need to correct it sooner than later.

There were a bunch of moments that led to Minnesota’s loss to the Bills this week. Which three stood out from the rest as the absolute worst?
