4 Bold Predictions: Minnesota Vikings vs. Los Angeles Rams – Week 4
By Adam Patrick
Will the Minnesota Vikings be able to rebound from their embarrassing loss in Week 3 when they head to Los Angeles on Thursday to take on the Rams?
It certainly was not a performance anyone was expecting from the Minnesota Vikings last week against the Buffalo Bills. Especially considering how big of a favorite the Vikings were heading into the matchup.
But Minnesota played poor from the opening whistle against Buffalo and it ultimately led to their first loss of the 2018 season.
If losing in Week 3 to a winless Bills team wasn’t bad enough, the Vikings only had three days to prepare for their next game on Thursday against the unbeaten Los Angeles Rams.
Heading into their Week 4 showdown in Los Angeles, Minnesota will definitely have a lot to play for.
Not only will the Vikings be out to prove that last week was a fluke, but they’ll want to put on a good performance for teammate Everson Griffen, who will likely be watching from home as he continues to work on improving his current state of mind.
If the past is an indication of anything, Minnesota head coach Mike Zimmer should at least have his team ready to play on Thursday. Since 2015, the Vikings are 4-2 in their first matchup after a loss of 17 points or more (Buffalo beat them by 21).
Will Minnesota be able to pull off the upset and hand the Rams their first loss of the season on Thursday? Or will the Vikings resemble something closer to what they put out on the field in Week 3 and lose their second game in a row?
When they finally do put on the pads to take on Los Angeles on Thursday night, what are four things to expect from Minnesota’s performance?
