2. Thielen’s record-breaking start to 2018

Throughout their history as an NFL franchise, the Vikings have had a number of very talented wide receivers put on their purple and gold uniform. Two of them (Cris Carter and Randy Moss) have even been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Currently, Minnesota has a pair of receivers in Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs that are arguably the best duo to play for the franchise since Carter and Moss during the early 2000s.

The Vikings’ current receiving duo is is already off to an impressive start in 2018. But Thielen’s season has especially been going at a record-breaking pace.

Through four games, the 28-year old pass catcher already has 40 receptions for 473 yards and two touchdowns. Thielen’s catch and yardage totals are the most any Minnesota receiver has ever accumulated in the first four weeks of a season.

If he keeps performing at such an impressively high level for the remainder of the year, he could end up creating his own pathway to a spot in the Hall of Fame.
