Laquon Treadwell – WR

Possible Destinations: Carolina, Cleveland, Jacksonville, New England

Treadwell has been given numerous chances to succeed with the Vikings and he just cannot seem to get over the hump.

With Kirk Cousins being brought in to be Minnesota’s new starting quarterback this season, some believed the young receiver would finally be able to live up the expectations he was given in 2016 as a first-round draft pick. But that has not been the case.

Treadwell does have 12 catches for 121 yards and a touchdown this year, but he has also only caught 57 percent of his targets. The Vikings receiver already has four drops this season too, which is currently the second-most in the NFL.

As much as Cousins keeps trying to keep him involved in the offense, Treadwell has just not been able to prove he is a reliable pass catcher. Throw in the emergence of fellow Minnesota receiver Aldrick Robinson last week against the Los Angeles Rams (two touchdown catches) and the team’s 2016 first-round pick is even more expendable.

If a team offers the Vikings’ a sixth-round draft selection in exchange for Treadwell, that is a deal Minnesota absolutely needs to take.
