Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen are the best receiving duo in the NFL

We mentioned Kirk Cousins’ success earlier and no quarterback sees those types of numbers without some help from the guys catching the football. For Cousins, that means that Diggs and Thielen have stepped up in a monstrous way.

Fresh off his five-year, $72 million extension last July, Diggs has continued to take off in the first month of the season. His big-play threat has meshed with an ability to make the tough catch which has made defenses feel the need to key in on him. That has resulted in a 27-311-3 line that is on par with some of the best receivers in the game.

As good has Diggs has been, the argument can be made that Adam Thielen has been better. The former undrafted free agent has cashed in off the attention Diggs is drawing to post a 40-473-2 line in the first four games and might be the NFL’s best receiver North of Michael Thomas.

With so many new pieces, the Vikings offense was a question mark heading into the season, but with Diggs and Thielen continuing to put up numbers, they should be in any game they play in.
