The interesting stuff vs Eagles

  1. Those cleats! As a big fan of professional wrestling and ECW, it was a ton of fun to see Stefon Diggs have the ECW logo and belt on his shoes for this game. It’s always fun to see players show their interests outside football, especially when they’re fun!
  2. Thanks for the reminder. Not only did Vikings fans get Joe Buck and Troy Aikman in back-to-back games, but Aikman took the first opportunity to remind Minnesota fans about the NFC Championship game where the Vikings scored first and then lost in a big way. Thanks, Troy.
  3. Moving on up! Adam Thielen has now passed both Chuck Foreman and Gene Washington to have the 14th most receiving yards in franchise history. Plus, he sets an NFL record by starting the season with 5 consecutive 100-yard games! Very impressive!
  4. I have no idea what a catch is. I thought I knew. Turns out you don’t need to maintain possession to the ground or complete the motion of a catch for it to be a catch in the end zone. When the ball pops out, I started celebrating…turns out I just don’t know.
  5. His reputation is well known. Vikings fans know Andrew Sendejo for making big hits, but others know him from the plays where he was penalized or fined as well as his “Make Football Violent Again” hat. With that kind of attitude, even hits where he leads with his shoulder will be second-guessed.
