The Interesting Stuff vs Cardinals

  1. What is up with the starting running back? This is a game where Dalvin Cook was expected to make his return to the starting lineup but ended up being inactive. While he may not be essential for the team until Week 8 against the Saints, it would be nice to see him on the field showing off his speed, acceleration, and elusiveness.
  2. The streaks continue. Adam Thielen has another 100-yard receiving game and Danielle Hunter has another sack. The consistency of these two guys is amazing. This has been a trend all season long and I’m hopeful that it is one that will never end.
  3. What is that celebration? I’m no dance expert, but I’m baffled by the touchdown “dance”. They said it was the “Bernie” from Fortnite on the broadcast, but I only know one version of the Bernie…and it looks nothing like that. However, we now know it’s called the “Dead Arm Dance” which is something Thielen did in college.
  4. Is that Dikembe Mutombo? The Cardinals had themselves a good day when it came to batting away Kirk Cousins passes at the line of scrimmage, swatting 6 of them away. At least they weren’t doing the finger waggle afterward.
  5. Moving on up! With his performance in this game, Adam Thielen passes Bill Brown and Paul Flatley on the Vikings list of all-time leading receivers to take the 12th position on the list. Up next is John Gilliam with 3,297 career yards with the purple and gold!
