“Classless” Cousins throws for over 400 yards

If anyone wants to read about how the New York media currently feels about Kirk Cousins picking the Vikings over the Jets this year, go ahead and Google “Classless Cousins”. I won’t include the link to the wonderful piece of writing on here because it is truly something that doesn’t deserve any more recognition than what it has already received.

With that being said, the Vikings quarterback will be able to show all the New Yorkers what they’re missing out on when he takes the field against the Jets on Sunday.

Recently, New York’s pass defense has not been too great. In their last three games, the Jets’ have given up eight passing touchdowns and allowed opposing quarterbacks to throw for an average of 355 yards.

The way Cousins is playing outside of Minnesota this season, he should have no trouble being able to feast on New York’s recent inability to defend the pass. In three road games this year, the Vikings signal-caller has thrown eight touchdowns, just one interception, and is averaging 383 passing yards per matchup.

Minnesota’s offense has been a little more of a balanced attack during the last two weeks, but look for them to throw a little more and take advantage of the Jets’ poor pass defense on Sunday.

Next. 3 players the Vikings should consider trading for. dark

Cousins will finish this week’s game against New York with at least 400 passing yards and three touchdowns. Hopefully his touchdown celebrations are classy enough to satisfy those bitter Jets fans.
